Latest generation sputtering coating for machining chip removal

Hyperlox Lafer is an AITiN coating with low internal stress, for chip removal applications. It is a coating derived from newly-conceived Magnetron Sputtering technology, developed to obtain extremely low internal stress with excellent adhesion, maintaining high levels of hardness and superior resistance to oxidisation. It is ideal on hobs, in HSS and HM, wet and dry, and on materials with a hardness between 50 and 60 HRC. Hyperlox Lafer is well suited to chip removal applications with elevated cutting parameters, and/or where the material being worked is particularly strong.
